AoS General's Handbook finally announced !!

allegiance abilities are known now, slann can dispell from the entire map and gets extra range on doubles. In addition we can try to teleport one unit a turn to a location at least 9'' from the enemy. with a d6 a 1 is a failure, 2-5 is go but cant move and 6 is it can tp an move still. That is it IIRC

What is IIRC?

Wait, those were just a few right? Weren't there more Allegiance abilities, but they just didn't mention them?
 
I also hope there is more since one of them is situational and one is completely useless if you don't play that expensive frog.
 
As I understand it that is just the alluance ability.

Than you have 3 command traits for slann, 3 command trairts for skinks and 3 command traits for Saurus

On top of that we have artifacts, one of them allows you to unbind a spell automatically
 
Maybe they just went over the important ones? It did sound to me like there was more, since they didn't mention any of the commands or items, just what stood out.

Hopefully we will get something like Scaly skin (ward save on physical), with maybe around 10" of the Slann you'd be able to ignore mortal wounds as well? It would help out tremendously with our poor Guards and their 1 wound.

Also TK's Liche Priest got a similar object by default... but an artefact, given to a Slann that can unbind on the whole battlefield, it's huge!

I think the artifact is only eithin an 18" radius

Indeed. If we don't get any spell lore, I'm just hoping we will have more traits that make us more tanky or lets us deal more damage. The 8th edition traits of predatory fighter and scaly skin were great!

Maybe a Slann command trait that gives him more spell lore? Maybe from the Battlemage spell list?

Really exciting, the teleport ability is huge! Just a few potential combos off the top of my head:
Stegadon- teleport then use the alpha ability to move D6 and re roll ones
Starseer- curse of fates means your teleport unit could move on a 5-6 not to mention the re-rolls
Bloodclaw starhost- buff the hell out of a unit/carnosaur and let them loose
Kroak- teleport, balewind vortex and mortal wound lots of units that will now be in range

Many many more synergies will work too (serpent staff, priestly trappings, scar vet on cold one command ability etc) so potentially buff a carnosaur in a bloodclaw so it has 7 jaw attacks, extra attack on 6's to hit, re-rolling ones, saves, runs and charges, 6's to wound is 6 damage, curse of fates so move on 5-6 when teleporting (only need an 8 to charge too with re-roll), either mystic shield or summon starlight. Now that will pack one hell of a punch!

I like the change to the Oldblood on Carnosaur though!

However, I don't like that our Bloodclaw Starhost is so much more expensive now, why do you think that is? It's up by 100 points!

Starseer is much more effective now if used properly and was undercosted anyway imo.

Formations across the board are more expensive now so not just us, probably to encourage too many being taken at low point games
 
Ah, I guess that makes sense

Also, does anyone have some leaks about the Seraphon traits? I already pre ordered it though XD
 
I can be hard to make out, but skinks now cost 60pt for 10. And with the max-size point discount, its 200 points for 40 skinks. This to me, is game changing for seraphon. Shadowstrike just became outright insane, you can use two max-sized skink squads, ripppers and a skink priest for 790 points.
The teleport is awesome, I hope its seraphon wide, not just for slann.
