Funny you should mention SeBM, as today is points update day! (every week on a Thursday i'll update scores) See the post below for the scores & cool funky graph with not many lines on it yet!SeBM said:Looking good Josh!!!
It would be nice to have a point update during the week, so it's easier to keep track for everybody. Thats right sevensevenare49, I'm looking at you
haha while i'd love to say that i'm hoarding masses of painted minis, the Swordmaster i posted earlier is the only thing i've finished. i blame my friend, who wanted me to help him with the co-op on Dead Rising 2. Who am I to say no to zombies? Finished last night though, so am pulling my finger out for this week though on the painting side. Brought some HE's in to paint at lunchtime, pending Chakax construction.SeBM said:don't try to hide behind the mound of miniatures you are trying to paint.
I find that milk helps settle my shaking (don't ask me how or why, probably an old wives tale). And holding my breath usually helps, i learnt that from Metal Gear Solid.SeBM said:I understand your pain Khakorlot!!! My hands shake A LOT and I'm only 25, but it's been that way since i was 12.
You paint with both hands SeBM?SeBM said:I like to joke about it saying that I shake equally on both hands

Eladimir said:So an ink is more runny than a wash, so will more so ditch the raised layer and head straight into the crevice?
I tried some washing directly into the crevice which works good but pretty time consuming.
Gonna try washing an area with the Green wash and see if I like the resulting depression and raised area changes. Thanks again all..

Hell yeah, love the wash range.Eladimir said:Devian Mud ftw!
Devilin mud is Jesus in a liquid form!sevensevensare49 said:nice looking Steg Eladimir, looks like he's been offroad now, horns are looking great too.

Update for my projects: Oxyotl; skin complete, just detailing to do. Chakax; nearly completed construction, need to glue the arms w/Stone Mace on, and those banner looking things on his back.
Steg; tried out a colour scheme on his head of Desert Yellow washed with Devlan Mud, which looked great last night, but this morning in the daylight looks like someone puked on him. Back might try a Bestial brown w/ Devlan mud wash on the spare head to test. either way, was going to drybrush the scales with Rotting Flesh or Khaki.
Also picked up some white spray paint last night (i've always used a brush until now) so the Saurus Warriors are going to get at least a base coat over the weekend. Slow start, gathering momentum now!
